Waste Management
The Compact statute directs the Commission to provide information concerning low-level radioactive waste management needs, technologies, and problems. This will information be assembled and made available through this site in the coming months.
The Commission:
- meets in public meeting with a quorum of the commissioners present
- maintains its records available to the public
- reports annually to the leadership of the States of Texas and Vermont
- records its meetings
- corresponds with the leadership of the party states
- assembles and makes available public information on low level radioactive waste issues
- may be contacted to request public information
